Get $SLING
$SLING tokens are required to engage in important activities like submitting ideas and voting on SlingShot DAO. You can get $SLING in a few different ways: earn them by completing specific tasks, claiming an Air Drop, or having someone send you tokens. The video explains the Air Drop method. The instructions below highlight Air Drops and other ways you may earn $SLING.

Method 1: Get $SLING via Air Drop
Important notes before we start:
1. Air Drops require you to have $MATIC in your wallet to pay for the Gas Fee on the transaction. Before proceeding, review the steps to get $MATIC.
2. If you are getting an airdrop, it will drop to the wallet on the SSD app, NOT your Metamask wallet.
1 Visit SlingShotDAO.com/app and connect your wallet
2 Click Claim Here at the top of the screen.
3 Select your location. Currently Air Drops are only available to those outside the U.S.
4 Click Check Wallet to determine if your wallet is qualified.
5 If your wallet qualifies for the Air Drop, you will be presented with 4 simple questions about SlingShot DAO. Answer them correctly to proceed.
6 Click Claim and Lock to secure your $SLING tokens.
7 Click Confirm in the Metamask popup to approve the transaction and pay the small gas fee in $MATIC.
Method 2: Get $SLING By Completing tasks
You may earn $SLING rewards by completing tasks in the SlingShot community.
Most tasks are listed on the Zealy platform. Join SSD on Zealy then complete tasks to earn XP and $SLING.
You may also be granted $SLING for participation in contests or other activities in the Discord community.
