How to submit ideas

Every great game starts with the spark of an idea. Submit yours on the SlingShot website for a chance to win the monthly competition. You only need the idea; you don’t even have to know how to build it! If the community selects your submission, the DAO will fund it so it becomes a reality. You will be rewarded $2000 USD and $250,000 SLING, and get to share in its success.

Step-by-step

1 CONNECT to SlingShotDAO.com

2 INITIATE the Submission Processby selecting SUBMIT IDEA from the IDEAS.

3 CLICK the SUBMIT IDEA button.

4 CHOOSE from the list of currentlyavailable game platforms or Metaverses.

5 ENTER basic info such as title and description. Make them catchy and memorable. This is what the voters see first! Click the icon for the next step (tags), or the arrow to go to proceed.

6 SELECT at least 2 tags from the Tags dropdown menu.

7 UPLOAD a thumbnail image that will represent your game on the Leaderboard.

8 ADD a short video (2 min max) that will excite voters and explain your game idea.

9 EXPLAIN your idea with words, sketches, and concept art. Include details to answer potential voter questions and entice them to back your game idea. You can insert graphic headers to give a sense of the style of your game.

Describe things like how the game will be played, what makes it unique and compelling, and how it will be monetized to benefit the SSD community.

10 PROVIDE your contact information so the SlingShot crew can send you submission status updates, ask questions, and manage the logistics of adding you to the Leaderboard.

11 PREVIEW the submission carefully. You cannot make changes after submission.

12 AGREE to the Terms and confirm you are over 18 years old.

13 JOIN the SlingShot community on the Discord server. It’s a great place to learn about other ideas, promote yours, find friends, earn SLING gems, and have fun!
